Dress is casual. People are friendly. Worship is life changing.
Pastors Bob & Tammy Brydon, and all the great friends at Generations Church, would love to have you as our guest this weekend. Whether you’ve been around church your whole life or this is your first step into it, let this be your connection to meeting other real people who are after the same thing – discovering and enjoying a life lived with purpose, genuine friendships and spiritual fulfillment! Whether you are single or married with children, we would love to help you get connected!
If you are a “first-time” guest, please feel free to park in one of the reserved front row parking spaces marked “Guest Parking”.
As you enter through the doors, you will be welcomed by a friendly greeter who can direct you to the Welcome Center. A host at the Welcome Center will greet you, help you register your children for their class, show you around, and answer any questions you may have. They will escort you to the sanctuary and give you a small gift of appreciation as a token of our thanks for you joining us for service.
Our style is contemporary. Our songs are meaningful. Our music is upbeat. The first half of our service is a combination of singing, praying for people with needs, the offering, and announcements. And as our guest, please do not feel obligated to give in the offering.
Our messages are biblically based, often challenging, and always relevant. Sermon notes are usually provided so you can take it home and think about it. You can also listen to each week’s sermon online by going to the Messages page.
When you enter the sanctuary, our greeters will welcome you and hand you a copy of the Sermon Notes and Weekly Events Bulletin. During the worship service, one of our pastors will welcome everyone and ask the “first-time” guests to fill out a Guest Card and place it in the offering container or drop it off at the Information Center as you leave. The Information Center is located in the lobby immediately on your right as you exit the Sanctuary. If you have a need we can pray for during the week, or if you would like a pastor to call you, please indicate that on your card.
We have separate classrooms for Nursery (Birth – 23 months); Preschool (Ages 2-5); and Early Education (Grades K-1) located off the main hallways. Please check your children in at the computerized kiosk located in the hallway outside the classroom. You will be asked to complete a Guest Card for your children and be given a Security Slip. At the end of service, you will need to show them your Security Slip when you pick up your child. If a teacher or care giver needs to contact you during service, they will page you by the number shown on your slip.
This group meets in our G-Force Class. This class engages the students through exciting worship songs, illustrated teachings, puppets, skits and games. You will need to pick up your child after the main service ends at their classroom. Caution: Your kids will probably want to come again and again!
This group starts out in the Sanctuary with the adults for worship. Midway through the service, Middle School students (Grades 6-8) are dismissed to their class for a relevant age-appropriate message, small group discussion and fellowship. After service, they will be released to meet you back in the Sanctuary. High School students (Grades 9-12) remain in the service to hear the message.
We believe that every child is special to God, especially those who have learning challenges. In our Special Forces class each week, children will learn about the love of God and how to live for God in a way they learn best. This class is led by compassionate and caring leaders who are trained to minister to children with autism and other special needs.
