Real Youth Ministry (6th-12th grade) exists to equip youth so by the time they leave your home they have a true, authentic faith. We accomplish this by focusing on 4 main goals:
Know: Knowing what Christ has done for us and knowing Him personally.
Grow: Creating environments that foster personal growth, biblical understanding and a deeper relationship with Jesus.
Serve: One of the best ways to understand our unique purpose is to give back by serving the church and community.
Share: In order to spread the Good News, we train youth on how to approach God conversations with friends, family and those outside our community.
We have amazing parents and adult leaders that volunteer weekly to invest in the next generation. It takes all of us working together to help each student own their faith and we would love to have you get involved. We have opportunities each week for small group leaders, food prep, games and more. You can also volunteer once a month or just for special events – we want every student to be known by an adult leader!
Wednesday night is our big youth service. Our key elements are games, worship, message and groups. We encourage youth and families to make Wednesday a priority and invite friends. Small groups are broken out by age and gender.
Sunday morning we take the lesson from Wednesday night and go deeper. We try and apply the bottom line or principle to daily life. We feel that our Sunday and Wednesday services work best when a student can participate in both each week but they are also meant to work for those who can only attend one or the other.
We do a larger outreach focused event 2-3 times per year called Max Out. This is an event that we try and encourage students to invite friends that typically don’t come to church. We share the gospel in a relevant way as well as talk about cultural issues and character development that is applicable to a teenager. These typically look similar to a Wednesday night but also include a meal, and step everything up a notch!
We would love to connect with parents and youth. Find us on social media or email email@example.com for more info!
